The need for ease of handling boats from the hoist to storage area has been recognized as a major labor and time problem for marinas today. Minderman Marine has gone to work on this problem and solved it.
Power is supplied by a 12 volt electric-hydraulic system proven in the construction field for years. A dual voltage system installed to the tow vehicle (any economical type) eliminates battery charging. Wheels on the carrier are designed with a walking bar to distribute the load on all wheels at all times when terrain is uneven. With storage areas at a premium boats can be stored gun'nel to gun'nel as overall width of the carrier is 9'. Using flags or wide load signs, the carrier can be operated on most roads. Optional features consist of rapid adjusting shoring for moving craft that are not equipped with a cradle. A minimum of effort is required to adjust for various hull styles. As a companion to the famous Algonac "A" Frame Rail Haul-Out, the pair (hoist & trailer) represent half the cost of comparable capacity mobile lifts alone, reducing initial capital outlay. The team further reduces haul out time and map power creating additional savings. The Algonac Carrier is the most efficient unit for the money on the market today.
